The embodiment of human greed and insatiable hunger, the wendigo is an evil spirit from the folklore of the First Nations Algonquian tribes. Said to possess those who are overcome with avarice or have engaged in the consumption of human flesh, Wendigoes are said to appear in a perpetual state of atrophy, with bones pushing against and piercing through gaunt decaying skin, that does not change regardless of how much it eats.
