Welcome to my idea growhouse! This place is a destination and a conversation. It is my worldview and my imagination. Like all the best magic it's alive, full of truth and trickery that coils together around some hard-to-reach essence that sits just beyond what we know to be real. It is a promise to the artist within me, to remember the power of my imagination, that it is my best answer to the question of existence, and offers the only path to the future I desire.
This website is a warehouse, a time capsule, a seed I am planting to be a container for what I can offer right now, as well as the space to gestate into what it will need to be. Perfection is often the final barrier that bars the pieces I create from ever seeing the light of day. As an artist, this is counterintuitive, but as a believer in the necessity of imperfection in art, it is worse than that: it is hypocritical.
In this house, we believe in Wabi Sabi. In this house, we believe in Change. We believe that to be brave is to care, and that the world needs more bravery.

Hello and welcome! My name is Aingkhu Ashemu and I'm a twenty-something-year-old writer currently living in Denver, Colorado.
I was born in Denver, Colorado but spent the years 1-10 of my life in Ghana. Since returning to the United States I have lived in California, Georgia, Colorado, and D.C.
As the content I produce may have told you, I am enamored with fiction and mythology. This first expressed itself in short stories, but over time has expanded to audio dramas, poetry, and podcasts. Over years, I have found that fiction can be a useful apparatus for humans to interact with truths that are perhaps too difficult to approach in their original form. It is now my goal to continue to tell the truths of the world through the beautiful lies I put on a page.
